Welcome! It's Academic is a special education website that serves K-12 students, parents, teachers, administrators, and university students enrolled in the SDSU teacher program. Those who know more about special education, begin to understand that all learning, regardless of stratus in school, will be enhanced. About Us explains how we provide educational services and states our goals. It's Academic has a variety of information pages. Special education articles are posted by month and year. In lay person's terms, you will find information on Aspergers, special education assessment procedures, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, auditory and visual processing, Behavioral Optometry, autism, teacher and parent checklists, dyslexia, dysgraphia, parents' rights under IDEA and 504, IEP's, medication, and PANDAS (not the bears. Interested in learning about how primitive reflexes affect you child's school performance? Check the Primitive Reflexes page. There are pages on almanacs, libraries, and free math games for children of all ages. The books' page recommends educational material directed at helping parents and educators better understand the learning process.
